What is ABL?
Adventure-based learning (ABL) consists of highly structured physical activity or problems for groups to solve. The activities are set up to help students explore issues of leadership, communication, cooperation, and conflict. A key part of ABL is the periods of reflection (i.e., debrief) that help promote personal and social development.
