In Term 3 2021 our Healthy Active Learning schools came together for a Healthy Active learning opportunities day at Te Manawa Library. We had a range of workshops that were focused around Inclusive practice and building teachers confidence as well as topping up their kete with fun movement games.
A HUGE thank you to Bunnings Westgate who supported out teachers on the day by offering flowers and a coffee to say thanks for all they do.
Sport NZ film crew were also present capturing parts of the day. We look forward to sharing this with you once it's completed in the next few weeks.
Term 2 ~ Avondale Primary - Make & Take event
School whānau wanted support around healthy kai for their tamariki. Garden to Tables, Kai for Community, Heart Foundation, Auckland Regional Public Health Service & FairFoods all stepped up to the plate to help run this amazing event. Check out the video for a snapshot of the event
