Program Information

In 2018-2019 Hopewell Crest adopted Microsoft Office 365 to promote Technological Literacy through the use of cloud based computing. In 2019-2020 3rd grade embarked on a Chromebook 1:1 pilot program. Teachers and students used Microsoft Office 365 and multiple classroom applications to promote Technological Literacy by utilizing cloud based computing through the use of individual Chromebooks in the classroom everyday. With the success of the pilot and the opportunity to purchase Chromebooks due to the COVID pandemic we are are happy to provide universal student access to technology by issuing a Chromebook to EVERY student in grades 2 - 8. Students in grades 6-8 will be required to carry Chromebooks to and from school each day. Students in grade 2-5 will be required to transport the Chromebooks to and from school some of the time. The information on this website explains the program and details student responsibilities in caring for, maintaining, and keeping school issued Chromebooks safe from damage. After reading the information each parent is required to complete the Hopewell Crest School Chromebook Agreement Form. Your student will not be issued a Chromebook if the agreement form is not completed.

** NEW IN 2021-22**

Hopewell Crest School will be offering insurance for school issued Chromebooks. See the Chromebook Insurance Form and the Chromebook Policy on this page for more information.
