Post-Assessment

Feedback Year One - Peer Mentoring.docx

Once four to six months of the Peer Coaching Media Mentorship initiative has been completed, it is helpful to introduce a post-assessment. The goal for this survey is to gauge if the comfort of your staff has increased in using, talking about, and recommending new media as a resource or in programming at the library. The post-assessment re-assesses strengths and gaps as you continue the process of developing media mentors within your library system.

Anonymity continues to remain essential with the post-assessment. Broad conclusions can be drawn without linking specific staff names to the post-assessment. The post-assessment may, for example, reveal an increase in comfort for a particular job title.

Analyzing the results of the post-assessment allows you to examine the impact of your organization's efforts, celebrate successes, and continue to fine-tune your coaching moving forward.
