I am a second year 9th grade math teacher at Waianae High School. My passions for working with kids involve building strong relationships and giving them the opportunities to be challenged academically in order to feel accomplished. In my free time, I really enjoy being out in the Hawaiian sun either struggling up Koko Head or face down on Sunset Beach.

A Whole New Level of Math
This project is a proposal to the Waianae High School administration explaining to them the need for a higher level math course in the 9th grade curriculum. I will walk through the need of the course, what the course will look like, and how it will expand and help students in their future endeavors.
