Brandon and I (Adam) have been friends for over 25 years now. It's hard to believe how quickly time has flown by! We met when we were about 10 and have been close ever since. Brandon is not only my best friend but also the godfather of my son, Mason.
What makes our friendship so special is the fact that we have been through everything together. We have seen each other at our best and worst, and yet we always manage to support and encourage each other through it all. Even though we now live in different states, we still make the effort to see each other as often as possible.
Brandon is one of the most genuine and loyal people I have ever met. He always tells it like it is and never sugarcoats anything. I appreciate his honesty, and it has helped me make better decisions throughout our friendship. He is always there for me, no matter what, and I know I can count on him to have my back. One of my favorite things about our friendship is how much fun we have together. We share a love for adventure, travel, and sports. Some of my fondest memories with Brandon involve road trips, hiking, and watching our favorite baseball team play.
As Mason's godfather, Brandon has played a significant role in his life. He is always there to offer guidance and support to both Mason and me. Mason absolutely adores him and looks forward to spending time with him whenever possible. I am so grateful to have Brandon as a friend and godfather to my son.
Tyler and I have been friends for over 25 years, and our friendship has only grown stronger over time. We first met when I was 10 and Tyler was about 8. We quickly bonded over our shared love of sports. Since then, we've been through so much together, from hiking the Grand Canyon to visiting Nashville, Tennessee together. What makes Tyler such a great friend is his loyalty and his ability to always make me laugh. He's been there for me through some of the toughest times in my life, and I know I can always count on him for support and encouragement.
One of the things I love most about our friendship is that even though we now live in different states, we still make a point to see each other regularly. We go on vacations to visit one another and always make time for a phone call or video chat. It's like no time has passed whenever we get together, and I cherish the memories we've made over the years.
It's also worth mentioning that Tyler is the brother of Brandon, who happens to be Mason's godfather. It's amazing to see how our friendship has now extended to the next generation, and I know that Mason is lucky to have Tyler and Brandon as positive influences in his life. Overall, I feel so grateful to have Tyler as a friend, and I look forward to many more years of laughter and good times together.
Cristi used to be my boss in the history department when I was in college, but we've grown to be very close friends over the years. She was actually my mentor in college, and I'm so grateful for all the guidance and support she's given me.
What makes our friendship so great is that we both love to talk - about everything! We can sit for hours and chat about anything and everything under the sun. She's an excellent listener and always gives thoughtful advice. I also love that our families are close, too. Cristi's husband Jeremy was my history professor in college, and her son Keem used to be one of my favorite kids to babysit.
What's really special about our friendship is that it goes beyond just us - Cristi is also close to my mom and grandma. She was even the matron of honor at my wedding to Adam! I feel so lucky to have her in my life, and I know that we'll always be there for each other no matter what.
Jordan and I met when she started dating my brother, Austin. I remember thinking how sweet and kind she was, but I didn't realize at the time that we would become such good friends. Over time, we bonded over our mutual love of Harry Potter and swimming. We would spend hours in the pool together, talking about our favorite characters and moments from the books. We also spend our time "saving world problems" as we like to say.
As we got to know each other better, we discovered that we both share a passion for teaching. We would swap lesson plans and teaching strategies, and even spend our summer breaks reading educational books. It was so refreshing to have a friend who understood the joys and challenges of being a teacher.
What I love most about our friendship is how easy it is to be around Jordan. We can be silly and goofy together, or have deep, meaningful conversations about life. She is one of the most empathetic and compassionate people I know, and I feel so lucky to have her in my life.
