In July of 2016 Adam and I met on a dating app when we  swiped right on each other. I was living in Flagstaff for school, Adam was passing though Williams, Arizona on his way to Colorado. Adam asked me to go hiking in the woods with him, which I quickly denied since I had never met in person and that sounded like a disaster! So instead, we met for dinner on July 31st in Flagstaff. It was pouring rain and I had to park a mile from the restaurant and walk. I was on the phone with my friend thinking about turning back, when I saw Adam walking toward me, even though he had already found parking over a mile away. He walked a mile in the rain to meet me and make sure I had an umbrella. We have been together ever since that moment. I even called my best friend on our third date and said “I am going to marry him someday.” Little did I know, Adam was thinking the same thing. He did move, but to Flagstaff to be closer to me. We eventually moved to the valley. We were married two years later in July. We had a large wedding with our friends and family. We were married in a castle in Chandler Arizona and had our Disney wedding theme of Happily Ever After.  

We both knew that we always wanted a large family. Adam and I decided we wanted to have a child as soon as possible. In September of 2018, we found out I was pregnant with our son. Mason was born in June of 2019, just shy of our one year anniversary. He instantly became our whole world.  

After Mason's birth we struggled to conceive again. We went through fertility treatments and lots of deep emotions. We talked about adoption and felt the call but it wasn't the right time during our fertility treatments. Recently,  I was pregnant with twins and lost both. I had an extremely traumatic miscarriage with my twins. After a lot of prayers, discussion, and support from our family we felt that adoption was the path for us and the time was right. We know our story is still continuing and we are so thrilled to be on this path to complete our family and live our happily ever after.
