Personal Academic Reflection - a reflection piece written for my English Capping course where I reflect on my academic achievements throughout my entire life and how they have helped me get to where I am today, and how they have shaped me as a scholar and a person.
Localization and Rhetoric Syllabus - a sample syllabus for a course focusing on the rhetoric of video game localization that I drafted for fun on my own time. The syllabus includes a course description, list of course materials, grading rubric, week-by-week calendar with outlined lecture topics and due dates, and assignment instructions for three papers and a final project. To quote Dr. Joey Fanfarelli, former professor in the Games and Emerging Media department at Marist, with whom I shared my ideas, "a reflection of how much you care about your education... Continuing to apply yourself in this manner will only make you even more exceptional..."
This PSA uses the iconic "game over" image from Super Mario Bros. to emphasize the consequences of plagiarism, and what writers can do to avoid plagiarizing their work, while also advertising resources that can help detect it.
I created this acronym to provide an easy method to remembering the general direction of the writing process. Sea creatures need gills to breathe underwater, just like a writer needs a plan to start writing a paper!
