This musical endeavor interweaves the folk and gypsy music of countries like Hungary, Romania, and Russia with the Balkans, the Bosphorus, and cosmopolitan seaports. The result is a fusion that grafts the structures and pathways of diverse musical traditions, infusing galloping dances, varied intense rhythms, and rich new melodies into an explosive and innovative musical blend.

At the heart of this exploration is the legendary violinist Jovanikas, a figure largely unknown to the general public. The ancient, legendary violinist's life unfolds across various locations, from Lesvos and Smyrna to the Black Sea coast, Costanza, Braila, and Bucharest. These locales become the stages for the musical journeys through time and space, inspired by the life and work of this enigmatic and elusive musician—a musical "scarecrow" whose life and work remain largely unexplored and shrouded in secrecy.

The group, consisting of Klearchos Korkovelos on cymbal and vocals, Yannis Niarchos on guitar and vocals, Glavkos Smarianakis on violin and vocals, Haroula Tsalpara on accordion and vocals, and Herodion Soulopoulos on soundengeneering, collaborates to bring forth this musical tapestry that transcends borders and time.
