Note: Please remember that the service projects listed below are suggestions! Feel free to be creative with the ways you choose to perform your works of mercy. All service projects should be done in a way that is safe for all parties involved.
Service Project Ideas
Give people more time-don’t rush them
If you are good at something, be willing to teach that skill to others.
Share helpful tips on your social media in a polite way
Be willing to tell stories that you know about the Bible, the Saints, the Church, etc.
Talk about your Faith (read a bible story to a neighbor or friend or younger family member via phone, zoom, or www.storiitime.com)
Don’t think you are better than someone else because of your knowledge. Don’t be prideful or arrogant when you know something.
Apologize to someone you may have belittled
Help someone to learn a new skill without boasting about your knowhow. Teach by example
Engage in meaningful conversations. Think about your voice and your language. Is that online comment actually helping someone or are you just trying to shame them?
