Note: Please remember that the service projects listed below are suggestions! Feel free to be creative with the ways you choose to perform your works of mercy. All service projects should be done in a way that is safe for all parties involved.
Service Project Ideas
Donate Canned Foods to your parish or a local food pantry
Give food to a homeless person
Make “Blessing Bags” to keep in your car and handout to those in need (suggestions below)
Pay for the person behind you in the drive-through
Bring meals to someone who is sick, just had a baby, or a neighbor who cannot get out of their house
Set the table, do the dishes, or help cook dinner for your family
Go shopping & deliver food to someone
Decorate reusable grocery bags and stuff them with nonperishable food items to donate to a food pantry
Send a surprise pizza or food to a family or fire station

Individual Toothbrushes
Deodorant
Bandaids
Pocket size Tissues
Baby Wipes or Wet Wipes
Unscented Lotion
Snacks (beef jerky, trail mix)
Bottle of Water or Gatorade

*Do not put soap in the bag as any food items will take on its taste
*Put in snacks that are easy on people without strong teeth. Do not put things like candy or granola bars, sticky items or anything that will melt.
