Hands From Home Virtual Kick-off (7pm on Instagram)

We suggest that families review the Resource Packet today as well as plan for some of your service projects for the week!

July 5th-9th, 2021

Service Days

Families will do service projects individually during the day. We will have materials to help families start their day with an opening prayer and end their day with a reflection.

Group leaders are encouraged to meet virtually to check-in with their families and to encourage use of the thematic materials.

Suggested Family Schedule:

Pick a time of day for you to start your time together. It might be first thing in the morning or it might be after your parents get home from work. Choose what works best for your schedule!

1. When you're ready to start pick a Work of Mercy to focus on.

2. Go to that Work of Mercy's page on the website. Watch the Saint Video as a reflection for the day.

3. Do one (or more) service projects. Use the suggestions for each Work of Mercy or pick your own! You can do a variety of projects each day.

4. Record your Service Projects using the Service Project Log. Each project should be a separate submission!

5. Use the Theological Reflection worksheet to discuss your service work as a family. If you'd like, share about your experience on social media using #HandsFromHome2021. Take some time as part of your reflection to prepare for your service projects for the next day!
