Verify Halal App

Verify Halal™ is a smartphone app that was invented by Serunai Commerce and endorsed by the Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (JAKIM). Verify Halal App was introduced to local and international users on 26 May 2017. It was designed to help consumers and retailers instantly check the Halal status of food, non-food products, and services across the Halal industry. The app verifies a list of products, premises, and abattoirs from 85 Halal Certification Bodies in 47 countries. 

The presence of the Verify Halal App uplifts the Halal Industry while helping brand owners to keep their products’ Halal status updated. Moreover, users can conveniently verify Halal status for international products with just a simple scan of the barcode on the product. The App is now used in more than 132 countries, with nearly 100,000 downloads in just one year.
