I was honored to be among the 130 shortlisted candidates, selected from a pool of over 16,000 applicants, to represent Pakistan in an exchange semester in the United States in the Fall of 2021. I had the opportunity to study at Central Washington University and take courses in Astronomy and Intercultural Communication. Furthermore, I had the privilege of exploring the cultural heritage of the United States during my stay.
I was honoured to be selected for multiple Erasmus Mundus scholarships. These highly prestigious and competitive scholarships allow the students to obtain a tuition fee waiver and a monthly stipend to study and learn from a consortium of universities across Europe. I was selected for the Master in Astrophysics and Space Science (MASS) and the International Master of Advanced Methods in Particle Physics (IMAPP)
Selected as the youngest Physics Lecturer in Punjab, I began my career by teaching FSc and undergraduate students at the Government Islamia College in Lahore. This position allowed me to share my passion for communicating Science and raising the next generation of future scientists in Pakistan. Taking on such a significant responsibility taught me the art of accountability, discipline, and punctuality, values that will stay with me throughout my career.

I was selected as a Principal Candidate for this prestigious scholarship by the United States Department of State to study in a top-ranking US university in 2023. Although I decided to avail the Erasmus Mundus Scholarship instead, getting selected for the Fulbright Scholarship is still an honour.
