Currently, Hack for Black lives is planning to host the first instance of this hackathon virtually with the Claremont Colleges on the weekend of February 19th - 21st.

Educate our hackers on the Black Lives Matter movement through resources and discussion sessions facilitated by mentors and organizers.
Create projects in any field, not just STEM, to support Black Lives Matter.
Understand impact through educational and technical mentors who help guide teams through their work.
Showcase and discuss projects from Hack for Black Lives.

Friday night we will have a welcome webinar, a keynote speaker, and educational workshops for all participants to attend! Workshops are meant to inspire and educate hackers for what impact they can have with their projects!

Saturday is your time to begin working on your projects! Each team will be assigned a mentor to help guide them throughout their project and facilitate conversations about the potential impact of the project.
Projects can be anything you want them to be! Check out are categories and challenges if you need inspiration for the project!
On Sunday at 5PM you will submit your projects! We will share a submission form before the Hackathon, but the submission will consist of a 3 minute video discussing your project and a few short write ups!
From 6:00 - 7:15 PM PST on Thursday, February 25th, we will host a project showcase to allow participants to share their projects with one another and the larger 7C community! We invite all 7C students, staff, faculty, and alumni to join this showcase and hear about the amazing work done this weekend.
