Each group is required to supply your own Doctor, PA, Nurse, or EMT for the length of the camp. Their role is to screen accidents or illnesses, recommend the course of action in emergencies, and decide which patients need treatment at the hospital. In the event your medical person is unavailable, the local EMS will be contacted immediately to handle any questionable medical emergency. If a guest requires transfer to the hospital, it is the responsibility of the guest group to provide transportation. Crooked Creek can only supply a limited amount of first aid supplies. Crooked Creek staff are not permitted to distribute any medications (Advil, Tylenol, etc.). We suggest that your medical person collect any prescription medication at the beginning of your trip and distribute as needed. The infirmary refrigerator is available to store temperature-sensitive medications.
