Every one of us being a Christ-follower is called to become disciples. To flourish as a follower of Jesus Christ it is cardinal which we have the discipleship’s heart.
The heart of discipleships will be when somebody had such a deep longing for discipleship which it is reflected in every aspect of their existence. This is reflected through actively pursuing expansion in your Bible knowledge, volunteering at the local church, and also applying the spiritual gifts so that our life will be Christ’s reflection and discipleship is the command provided to us through Christ.
Have a moment of thinking real quick regarding something you are super passionate about. It might be playing a guitar, creating tiktoks or working with the children.
We all have our own passions. Then think of how great time you use thinking and striving for that passion. Maybe a lot, you see if we have a profound passion for something this will drive us to grow deeper in our knowledge about it, and progresses, how much time we’re using in doing things connected to it and it is what the core of discipleship is all about.
Having the discipleship’s heart is having the passion so profound for our heavenly father, where everything in our life floods from it. The ultimate goal here is by glorifying God in everything that we do and to deepen our relationship with Him. It will permit us to better accomplish the purpose, wherein He has called us to do.
Some samples of living out the life of somebody who had the heart of discipleships are: Volunteering in your community/church, daily quiet time, applying your spiritual gift, having spiritual velocity and meditating on scripture.
Having the heart of Christian discipleships will appear different from anyone and in every season of our life. Be sure that you don’t automatically assume that you do not have the discipleship’s heart because you do not do everything and someone else does.
You can read in Luke 9:23-24 verses that a disciple’s heart is someone who’s willing to lay and die their own existence, take up their offense, and pursue Jesus Christ in everything they do.
In Mathew 28:16-20 verses, Jesus revealed the calling He had not only for those eleven disciples but also for every one of us. We’re to go and become disciples who made disciples just in order that Jesus can be known among every nation.
That is why having the discipleship’s heart is important as a follower of Christ. We had been commanded through God to become disciples, and when we don’t have that heart of discipleships, then, we won’t become a good disciple.
This disciple word appears in the Bible with a total of around 273 times. It only shows how significant disciples are to our God.
This must ignite the fire in us to possess that deep desire to attain the heart of one disciple, and to cause us to chase growth as a daily disciple.
It can be read in the Bible that after the disciples spent time following Jesus Christ and perceiving His every teachings, that He informed them to go then apply everything that they have taught through teaching others. The moment we spent time increasing our hearts of discipleship, we should be sure that we assist others to do the same thing.
Although the process is stressful and you’ll question whether you’re qualified or not to assist others to become better disciples, the moment you have Christ in you, you’re simply His craft and will aid you guide other people around you when needed.
In accomplishing this, walk them by the similar steps that you walked through to assist you grow your personal heart. Be delicate and vulnerable with them, and that they will know they are not the only ones that struggled with this. Set aside some time for their own walk by each step the hand over them challenges.
