Dai joined the lab in January 2026
Dai entered the Department of Life Sciences at Ritsumeikan University, Japan, in 2012. In 2015, he advanced early to the Graduate School of Life Sciences through an accelerated academic program. During his Master’s studies, he focused on the mechanisms of iPS cell reprogramming. After completing his Master’s degree, he transferred his research base to the National Cerebral and Cardiovascular Center (NCVC), where he conducted his PhD research on cardiac development. He received his PhD in 2020.He subsequently joined the Division of Neuroanatomy, Shiga University of Medical Science, as an Assistant Professor, where he investigated the mechanisms of neuronal DNA repair. During this period, he got a Certification in Anatomy and Certified Bioinformatics Engineer
