Chiara joined the lab in October 2018
Chiara completed her International Master's Degree in Neuroscience at the University of Trieste (Italy). During her Master's, she performed her thesis project in the Department of Basic and Clinical Neuroscience at Kings College London, in the lab of Professor Annalisa Pastore, where she became interested in the molecular mechanisms driving neurodegeneration.
She has done her DPhil in the Gromak Lab (2018 -2023) and she is currently working as a Post-Doctoral Researcher on uncovering the role of RNA/DNA hybrids in neurodegenerative diseases, particularly in trinucleotide repeat disorders.
