The 'CAT' Welfare team:

The Grizedale College Advisor Team (CAT) is the first point of call for any students feeling uncertain or concerned about a variety of welfare issues. They can be contacted by emailing grizedalecat@lancaster.ac.uk

Grizedale CAT also host weekly drop-ins where you can talk about any concerns you have. These are held every Thursday during term time, 12–2pm in the Grizedale Meeting Room, next to the Porters’ Lodge.

You can also ask your fresher reps to point you in the right direction!

We are here to support you throughout your time at Lancaster University. We understand that it may be your first time away from home, perhaps even in a foreign country, and it may be difficult to adjust at first. Please come and talk to someone in the College, who will listen to you and signpost you to areas of support.

No matter how big or small those questions are; we’re here for you. Whether, you have flat, academic, social, inclusion or any other concerns, we will do our best to point you in the right direction so that you can concentrate on having the best, most enjoyable and rewarding time at uni!
