Park cleanup - go to your local park and pick up all of the trash you can; whoever picks up the most trash in an hour gets a prize
Educational hike - find a trail near you and see if you can find human impacts on the surrounding environment; use this website to gain more information on environmental issues that you may explore
Recyclable build - gather recyclable materials and build a rocket ship, tower, or anything you can imagine
Compost center - build a compost center for your school where students can discard leftovers to be used as fertilizer for local gardens; see if you can make the compost center out of recyclable materials
Rooftop garden - talk with teachers to see how you can help the school regulate its temperature with a rooftop garden; planting flowers on the roof is a good way to keep your school cool during warmer weather
Renewable energy plant - visit a renewable energy plant to learn about how they produce energy in a clean way that helps the environment. This could be a solar energy farm, hydropower dam, or wind farm
