To change people's hearts and minds requires more than facts and statistics. It requires stories, music and images. Consider that it was the novel "Uncle Tom's Cabin" that turbo charged abolition before the Civil War. And for those of who of a certain age, can you remember the powerful the images of civil rights protesters being attacked by dogs? This was behind the federal government deciding to use its power to mandate voting rights in the South. And both of these efforts were undertaken by people of faith.
People of faith can have dramatic impacts on society and so we are asking you to rise to the challenge again. We need novels, short stories and poetry. We need films, anime and yes - memes. We need songs to help us push on, to raise our spirits, and to just educate. We need images to share via social media, book illustrations, in galleries, on Youtube and in school hallways.
