MATERIAL ACQUISITION
The Office of the Greene Municipal Historian is always looking to acquire items relating to Greene's past. Items sought after include, but are not limited to: old documents (ephemera), photographs/portraits, ledgers/books, organizational memorabilia/relics, etc. As these items are acquired, they are placed into the Historian's archives where they will be housed for safekeeping and future display and/or study. All items are catalogued into the Historian's archive computer system for proper inventory management.Â
DONATIONS
The Historian's Office is always accepting donations! Do you have any of the above-mentioned items that you no longer desire to hold or wish to rehome? This office will accept MOST donations through a donation acquisition process. Upon receipt of item(s), you will be mailed a "Deed of Gift," which states your intentions to donate said item(s) and shows that it is being placed in the Historian's archives. If you have an item (or maybe more) that you would like to rehome, or would like to see in a proper collection, I invite you to reach out to me either via email (bbernardi@nygreene.com) or phone (607-656-4191 x.221). If you are not local and the item(s) are small enough and would like to mail them, you may send them to:
