During the April Greene Town Council meeting, it was discussed about the proposed implementation of the "Greene Cemetery Commission." At this time, it was decided after deliberation between the Municipal Historian and the town council, that the proposed commission would be tabled for now, and instead, allow the Municipal Historian to oversee the cemeteries within the town and village, and be the central Point of Contact for any cemetery-related matters, as it pertains to the abandoned cemeteries within the municipality. The details of this concept and a vote is anticipated at the May town council meeting.
