Half day. We hiked down towards and around limestone lakes. The first lake was an incredible shade of turquoise. Each lake was expansive. Dad sprayed me in the face with bear spray. A highlight was walking off the route a couple meters to find a small turquoise lake tucked up high in a bowl below a glacier. Beyond the lakes we found marsh and just beyond that we found a nice camp spot tucked in the trees. We took the afternoon off as it was drizzling.
Camped close to GDR 41--small amounts of water, but enough. Putting my pack back on after a break, I discharged a good portion of my limited supply of bear spray--right into Sofia's face--Oh no!
