Ate breakfast by the river. Hiked out. Saw a few more people (just a few). Met Randy before noon
Even for this 66 year old, this last day was probably unnecessary--we could have finished up, though exhausted, the day before. However, one last day in the woods with my daughter made it unequivocally worth the dilly dallying. What an adventure! We met up with our resupply and shuttle driver Randy Gulick from Wild River Adventure Tours out of Tumbler Ridge, BC. He took us to Tumbler Ridge for the night. We had a lively dinner with he and his wife Roxanne as well as Kevin Sherman, who had hiked the first 1/2 of the GDR solo the previous year and the 2nd half with his wife soon after we met. Roxanne, drove us to Prince George the next day. Thanks for the support Randy and Roxanne! It was a pleasure meeting you all.
