Google Classroom is a digital classroom for both the teachers and the students. Within the app, Google Classroom allows the teachers and students to focus on everything within a specific class. Although each classroom is class specific, the home page allows for multiple classes for both the teacher and the student.
Teachers are able to post assignments, questions, discussion posts, videos, and much more. They are able to set up rubrics and grade from the application itself.
Students can access their work, submit their work, use the stream to comment, ask questions, and much more.
As a PE and Health teacher, Google Classroom is a great way to connect students to homework, ideas, and in my case, videos. Uploading an exercise video into the digital classroom for the students to view, comment, and perform themselves is a great way for those who are unable to attend class for any reason.
