Communication plays a huge part between any student and teacher, teacher and teacher, student and student, etc. We communicate in order to exchange relevant information between people. Common ways of communication can can be in person, by phone, or via email.
For a Physical Education class, communication via email is important between student and coach. Students should regularly be in communication with coaches regarding presence. Students who are out sick, pre-occupied by a core class, or any other reason should be able to communicate with the coach alerting them that they are unable to be present to class. A simple, but well-written email would get the point across.
The picture below demonstrates proper emailing etiquette.
The use of email is widely popular and common among communication. Students and teachers must understand the basics to communicate with each through this method of communication. That being said, email models the ITSE Standards under the digital citizen. The students are respecting themselves, the teacher, and technology itself when communicating. Your message is your identity.
