I have been teaching Physical Education, Health, and Horticulture for 5 years at a private elementary and middle school in Tarzana, CA. Sports have always been my passion. I loved them since I was a kid. Growing up, I never zeroed in on one particular sport. I was perfectly fine competing in multiple sports throughout my life. As I entered college, I focused in on two sports that I still participate in to this day: Track & Field and Ultimate Frisbee. Moving in to coaching, I coach various sports, games, and activities for children ages 5-18, and have been doing so for nearly 20 years.
PHYSICAL EDUCATION & HEALTH
Why do I teach? I teach because I truly enjoy teaching the games, sports, and activities I have loved growing up. I also teach because I enjoy seeing the students develop positive habits through the knowledge given to them. Whether it is an already athletic student excited for whatever game is to be played in PE, to the casual student who grows to enjoy a non-traditional sport or game. From seeing the budding social health skills of students everyday to the eagerness of one to seeing how big their plant has grown in a month. I teach because I want to pass on my knowledge to the students and watch them grow, strive, and make an impact in their life.
