Support Grants for Research Dissemination and Presentation
International Conferences for Graduate Students
Application and Selection Process
Announcement: The Graduate School issues the application announcement for each fiscal year, with the application period typically running from October to June annually.
Submission: Graduate students must check their eligibility and submit required documents through the online application system during the specified calendar rounds.
How to apply: Visit the Graduate School website (www.graduate.nu.ac.th) > Select "Scholarships" > Select "Dissemination Support Grants".
Status Tracking: Students can verify the applicant list via the scholarship website by selecting "Scholarships" > "Dissemination Support Grants" > "Interview schedule".
Interview & Presentation: The Graduate School organizes a scholarship committee meeting (via online systems) within the second week of the month following the application deadline.
Students must attend an interview and deliver an oral presentation not exceeding 15 minutes.
The research presented must be a part of the student's thesis with completed research findings.
Approval: The Graduate School prepares the results report and official announcement. The University President then approves and signs the list of grantees, a process that takes approximately one week.
Pre-Travel Procedures
After the list of grantees is officially announced, students must prepare a memorandum requesting permission for official travel to present their research. This request must be approved by the student's Faculty, the Graduate School, and finally the President (approx. 1-week process).
Required Details in Travel Documents:
Travel Dates: Specify appropriate departure and return dates. Any delays or early arrivals must be justified.
Airlines: If not using Thai Airways, specify the airline used and provide a reason.
Funding Source: Must be identified as: "Research Fund, Research Plan, Research Development and Technology Transfer, Graduate School Secretariat Office, General Subsidy Category – Research/Innovation Promotion Project (Research Dissemination and Presentation Grant for Graduate Students)".
Funding Rates & Conditions
Students are responsible for upfront costs. Receipts must state the grantee's name and be dated after the travel approval date.
Destination Maximum Grant Amount
Americas, Europe, and Africa Not exceeding 50,000 THB
Australia and Asia (excluding ASEAN) Not exceeding 40,000 THB
ASEAN Countries Not exceeding 30,000 THB
Domestic (Thailand) Not exceeding 10,000 THB
Supported Expenses: Travel fares (economy class), VISA fees, registration fees, accommodation, and publication costs.
Reporting and Reimbursement
Expense Report: Grantees must submit a travel report with original evidence of actual expenses to the Graduate School within 7 days of returning to Naresuan University.
Note: English receipts must be translated into Thai and signed by the grantee to certify the translation.
Presentation Report: Submit the formal presentation report (using the Graduate School’s report form) through the student's Faculty within 15 days of returning.
Disbursement: The Graduate School reviews documents and forwards them to the Treasury Division (takes 1-2 weeks).
Payment Schedule: Grantees receive 50% of the grant after the presentation and the remaining 50% once the work has been officially published.
