Customer Expectations

After speaking with Dr. Adedeji on 19 September 2018, we were able to determine some of the parameters for our project. Those are listed below:

• Total dryer cost must not exceed $200
• Dryer must be an improvement upon traditional roadside drying methods
• Any forced convection must be done using electricity that was produced passively
• Dryer must have capacity to dry the grain produced for storage by the average Nigerian corn farmer
• Corn must be dried on cob
• All materials must be available locally
• All maintenance can be completed by farmers

These parameters will be taken into consideration throughout the design and building of this project.
