Meet the Group

Megan is graduating in May 2019 with a degree in biosystems engineering with a focus in bioprocess and food engineering. She is also graduating as part of the Scholars in Engineering and Management Honors program. She has held an internship with Alltech's Food and Beverage Division and works with Dr. Akinbode Adedeji in the University of Kentucky Food Engineering lab. She plans to join the workforce upon graduation.

Cameron is graduating in May 2019 with a degree in biosystems engineering with a focus in bioenvironmental engineering. She has experience in renewable energy research, microsoft office, and CAD design. She plans to do a one-year MBA upon graduation.

Jameson is graduating in May 2019 with a degree in biosystems engineering with a focus in food and bioprocessing. He has experience with research in biofuel production through the conversion of biomass. He plans to pursue a graduate degree in biosystems engineering upon graduation.

Julia is graduating in May 2019 with a degree in biosystems engineering. She has experience with research in the bio-mitigation of carbon dioxide using microalgal systems under the supervision of the biofuels and environmental catalysts group at The University of Kentucky's Center for Applied Energy Research. She plans to continue renewable energy research by pursing a graduate degree upon graduation.
