GOVERNMENT POLYTECHNIC - PORBANDAR

Established in 1960, Government Polytechnic - Porbandar offered three Diploma programmes in Mechanical, Civil and Electrical Engineering. Based on the need of industries, other Diploma programmes Computer Engineering started in 2001 and Transportation Engineering started in 2007.

The institute is affiliated with Gujarat Technological University (GTU), Ahmedabad, and is administrated by the Department of Technical Education, Gujarat State, Gandhinagar. Spread across a well-planned campus, we offer state-of-the-art facilities, including buildings for various departments, administrative offices, hostels, and residences for the Principal, rector, and wardens.
