Our Aftercare Programs are led by Kelly, our Program Lead for all Golden Sun Aftercare Programs. Kelly brings her experience, creativity, and love of working with children into our programs. She works alongside our caring staff to make sure each program is a place where kids feel safe, supported, and excited to be!
Deanna was our Program Director and is stepping away to run our new space in Castine! We are so thankful for everything she has done for this program, but she will still be helping with our aftercare programs and centers!
Some of the things Children can look forward to:
Homework help when needed
Arts, crafts, and creative activities
Lots of time to play and move
Hands-on activities and weekly themes
Time to build friendships and socialize
A safe and supportive place to relax and have fun after school
Aftercare is a great opportunity for your child to play, create, and explore with peers after school. Our program is directed by a certified early childhood and special education teacher and staffed by caring, professional adults.
