Frigga #22
Frigga is a real neatnik. She loves to clean things, tidy drawers, and sweep floors. Before emigrating to the United States she was housekeeper for Earl Slepperfeffer of Bleoborg. She left Bleoborg in a hurry as a consequence of the Earl's unwanted attentions.
She would love to live with a family who enjoy seeing things neat and clean. Who enjoy rolling up their sleeves to refresh and renew their living space. She likes to hang out with well polished silver.
Adopted. Thank you Jane!!!
Named after the Norse god of baking, Andhrimnir. Is happiest in the kitchen. A past participant in the Great Gnome Bake Off, he made it to the semi-finals and was excited to receive Star baker in one episode and get a handshake from the famous Gnome Baker Paul Gnollywood!
He would like a home where the bread is crusty, the pastry flaky and none of the pies have soggy bottoms.
Adopted!!!!!!!! Thank you Tonya
Askel Lund was found shivering in a maintenance shed at Crotched Mountain in 2014. He was a dedicated ski bum, but had no home. After joining us at GASM he dedicated himself to the sport in a most serious manner.
Askel Lund currently holds several titles with the Gnome Nordic and Alpine Ski Association (GNASA). He has participated in both Alpine downhill and slalom events., holding a Gold Medal in 2019 Gnome Olympics Slalom event. In the same games he took the Silver in Biathalon. He still enjoys getting out on the slopes when he can.
Askel is looking for a home where he will be respected for his achievements and looks forward to watching Winter Olympic events with his new family.
Adopted. Thank You Morgan & Sarah!!!
Linnea is a hippie. She loves to run shoeless through deep grass, to be in the outdoors, and to put flowers in her hair. She listens to music of the sixties and is particularly partial to Led Zeppelin and The Incredible String Band. She likes watching people eat granola and would be happiest in a vegetarian home.
Adopted! Thanks to the Cooper family
Sverde is a wild little fellow. He enjoys watching people eat. Loves the smell of beer and whisky and likes to listen to Bluegrass music, especially early Bill Munroe. You'll need to keep an eye on this one, he can get rambunctious!
Adopted. Thank you Lucy.
After receiving her MBA from the Wharton School Helg went to work for Grimble, Swamble and Ripoff, the well known "Gnomes of Zurich". Unhappy with the urban conditions and snooty attitude of the Zurich Gnomes. Helg moved back to the states and now has her own consulting company providing personal coaching to executives. She is happiest listening to Bach and sniffing aged peaty scotch.
Adopted. Thank you Kathryn.
Vandrer is a hiker, through and through. He is a member of the New Hampshire 4,000 footer club. He has hiked Mt. Monadnock every day for one year and he has completed both the Pacific Crest Trail and the Appalachian Trail.
Needless to say, he is quite tired now and would rather sit around and read Outdoors magazine, surf the net on the REI and EMS shopping sites and write the occasional article for the AMC magazine. If you like to share your hiking stories Vandrer is the Gnome for you!
We found Sjorn skating on a puddle in the driveway of a neighbor's house. She loves to do skating, ballet and modern dance. When not enjoying these activities she can be found practicing yoga (favorite position, warrior pose) or meditating. She was fortunate to travel to Tibet where she studied with Lama Ginseng Rimpoche. She would enjoy living with a family where meditation is practiced and she can aid practice by spreading an aura of peace.
Gronk has been fortunate to have enjoyed a highly illustrious football career. After graduating high school he entered Gnotre Dame on a football scholarship and was a Heisman trophy nominee. Leaving college, Gronk was drafted to Gnational Football League's Gnew Orleans Saints but was forced to leave the team after ten years of play due to knee injuries and series of unfortunate concussions. Gronk's memory isn't what it used to be so he needs some help. He is a friendly soul, loves to reminisce about his old football days and to watch ESPN.

Growing up in the Monadnocks Greta became finely attuned to the changing of the seasons. After leaving Conant High School where she was able to take a class in Sustainability, she went to college at Keene State where she is now a climate activist. She is currently involved in a number of organizations including 350NH, Citizens' Climate Lobby, NextGen and has taken part in the People's Climate March.
Greta will be happiest in a home where awareness of our need to get rid of fossil fuels is a priority.

The diminutive Klara was born in Malmo, Sweden. Graduating with a degree in ethics from the University of Goteborg she emigrated to the United States where she sought to inject a spirit of courtesy and respect into US Politics. After spending several years in the DC area she realized that she had set herself a hopeless task. On hearing about the peace and tranquility to be found in the Monadnock region she moved up to New Hampshire to spend her time in quiet contemplation.
Klara would enjoy a home where she can be in touch with nature and focus on world peace .
Moved to Jaffrey, Nh.
Einar Einarson had a troubled childhood. The child of a wandering minstrel Gnome, his unstable background made it very hard for him to settle down. However in his teen years he developed a love for Norwegian fiddle music and eventually became a lover of fiddle music of all kinds. He is happiest in winter, sitting by a log fire, listening to traditional music from Norway, the Shetland Islands or Ireland. take him to a session at a local pub and he'll be the happiest Gnome in the Monadnocks.
Moved to Pennsylvania!
FISKER
Fisker studied lacustrine biology at the University of Tromso. He was able to get a job teaching fly fishing at the Gnorvis Fly Fishing school in Vermont. He was forced to give up his teaching career after a nasty accident when he removed a student's eye with an Alder Wet on a number 10 hook. Subsequently he hitched hiked to Peterborough where he subsisted on fish caught in the lakes and streams of the Monadnock region. Now an avid coarse fisherman too , he enjoys catching Bluegills at Cunningham Pond.
He'd like to end up with someone who enjoys fishing and with whom he can share "the one that got away" stories. He likes watching fishing shows on TV.
Adopted and Fishing on the Warner River. Thank You Danica!
Bobcat Harris was one of the first Gnomes to be born in the United States. He grew up on land surrounding the Harris Center for Conservation Education.
While many Gnomes attend university and go in to the professions, Bobcat is a firm believer in outdoor education. He has lived in and around the Harris Center all his life, and through following the various classes as they walk in the woods, and through eavesdropping on the lectures in the Babbit room, he is comfortable that he easily has a PhD in local ecology. Like most Gnomes he is an avid mycologist.
