My name is Bryan Field and I am the guy behind this fund raising effort. I donate my time for administration and gnome building. I have created a spreadsheet which shows both income from gnome adoptions and expenses for materials, as well as the donations to the two non-profits this effort supports.
I have been interested in supporting local efforts to help the local homeless population for the past several years. I believe I have found a way to do this. Many Americans are living on the edge of homelessness. Mental illness, high medical bills, job loss and domestic abuse are just a few of the routes from middle class to destitution.
Those of us who are fortunate to have a roof over our heads can show our gratitude by helping those who don't. This is how I use my talent to help.
