These NPCs have character sheets that have been made in Demiplane. If you are uncomfortable making a character or don’t have time, you can request one or two of these to look through. They will be leveled by Karen to the recommended level of the game, though players may make recommendations.
Human Bard (she/her)
Naleen is the niece of the current Lassite Storm Lord. Like most of her family, she is clever, prefers to use her words first, and is generous–but if wrong is done against her or those she cares about, she will not hesitate to strike. She has worked her way up through the Lassite’s (hidden) smuggling business as well as their distillery, but seeks to earn a name for herself outside of her family name.
Half-Elf Ranger (she/her)
Kaleena and her mother have lived in Stormreach most of her life, transporting anyone who could pay to various coastal locations along Skyfall Peninsula (where Stormreach is located) on Watersnake, the elemental-bound skiff her mother built. They were happy until one day, returning from a trip to the Hydra to drop off a group of adventurers, they were attacked by blackscale lizardfolk near the Marsh of Desolation and her mother was taken. Kaleena has not forgiven House Lyrandar for refusing to help her find her mother–even if only her body remains.
Aetheris Seraph(they/them)
Jirian is a templar of the Silver Flame* who was sent (banished) to Stormreach after they accused a Cardinal for plotting against the Voice of the Silver Flame. They have only recently arrived in Stormreach, and live in a chamber provided at the local church.
*The Church of the Silver Flame believe that, thousands of years ago, a group of couatl sacrificed themselves to create the Silver Flame in order to bind the Overlords (fiends) who ruled Eberron. The Overlords were bound, not destroyed, and so the Silver Flame must continue to keep the people of Eberron safe.
Human/Infernis Warlock (they/them)
A human who grew up wandering the Rubble Warrens (ruins) of Stormreach, who at some point made a pact with a greater power, who he refers to as his Editor. He is the primary writer for the Stormreach Gazette, a weekly newspaper that blurs the line between fact and rumor. He is in love with Carlos.
Note: based on Cecil Palmer from Welcome to Night Vale.
Human/Tidekin Wizard (he/him)
A human who grew up wandering the Rubble Warrens (ruins) of Stormreach, he is fascinated with mechanics and magic, and is currently apprenticed to Tamal Vestrii, a half-orc woman who specializes in hidden magical weaponry and other such items. He is in love with Carlos, but oblivious to all signs that affection is returned.
Note: Based on Carlos from Welcome to Night Vale.
Orc Warrior (she/they)
Ridara grew up in the Cerulean Hills, the farms outside of Stormreach. She admired the gladiators of the Red Ring, but learned soon enough that she valued her freedom too much to be beholden to a sponsor. She does odd jobs in and around Stormreach, primarily for House Tharashk, and organizes (and sometimes competes in) the weekly Rig Runs* over Stormreach.
*Citizens may move through Stormreach by the streets, the undercity/sewers below, or the “rigging” above–a combination of rooftops, bridges, and ropes that connect to a series of mysteriously floating islands above.
