Lab 11

Lab 11 focused mostly on georeferencing; taking a USGS geologic survey and georeferencing it so it overlays an already referenced topographic map. After the map was in the right spot, we were able to take a rock layer of interest and create a shape file from it. All of this work was done in QGIS, adding to my familiarity of open source GIS programs.
