Lab 11

Lab 11 Allowed us to re-visit the Magnum fire in AZ that occurred in 2020. Using band 7 and 5 from pre and post fire imagery, we were able to compare the reflectance values of the vegetation on the ground. This created a ratio that allows us to compare burned and non-burned areas. From there, we reclassified the raster to constrain it to three classes: burned (positive change), no change (non-burned) and negative change (also non-burned)
