Lab 10b focused on supervised land classification. Using satellite imagery and ArcGIS' image analysis tools, I was able to make general classifications of land cover. this was done by feeding samples of land cover into a schema that was then extrapolated by ArcPro. Some land cover types like "burned" "shadows" and "barren" were similar, and ended up appearing in incorrect places in the final datasets. I think working with smaller areas and higher resolution imagery would help with this problem. However, the general trends were still apparent in the final products.
