Primary Ministries are broken up into Ministry Areas in accordance with the church's mission statement and are each led by a Ministry Coordinator who is elected by the congregation and who's role is to support and encourage Ministry Teams in their area.
Ministry Teams are responsible for carrying out the specific ministries to which they have been called. They are divided into two types: inspired teams and core teams.
Inspired Teams:
The majority of teams will be inspired. These teams are formed from the ground up, when individuals or groups in the congregation feel inspired or called to start a ministry that others may join. These teams will come and go as the needs of the church and community change. Please note: the teams listed in the chart are examples of teams we currently have or have had in the past. They may or may not exist in the new organization depending on members passion to participate in them.
Core Teams:
These teams are instituted by the by-laws, Governing Board, or congregation as a ministry that is essential to the functioning of the organization.
