The Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) has advanced the merger between Kean University and New Jersey City University (NJCU).
The Everest Project was a great learning experience. It helped me strengthen my technology skills, think creatively, and gain confidence in using digital tools for education. Overall, it was both enjoyable and rewarding.
We are ready to begin its second year with enthusiasm, determination, and a shared commitment to learning, growing, and achieving success together.

Presenting my professional portfolio to the class was a rewarding experience that allowed me to reflect on my academic and professional growth. Sharing my accomplishments, leadership experiences, and future goals increased my confidence and strengthened my communication and presentation skills. The positive feedback and meaningful discussions also motivated me to continue developing my portfolio, expanding my knowledge, and growing as a leader in educational technology.
Working with a peer and leading our group was an extraordinary and rewarding experience. My co-leader and I supported our team, strengthened our communication and leadership skills, and worked together to overcome challenges. Although we did not win, we learned valuable lessons about teamwork, collaboration, and growth. The experience reminded me that success is not always about winning, but about what we learn and how we grow together.
