Every week, the Dalusung Family of Quezon City prepares 50 food packs and distributes them to the homeless. Their generosity of spirit is a fruit of their piety. They know they can’t feed all who are hungry but they are making a difference. For the recipients, the food pack is an answered prayer and the Dalusungs are proof that God looks after the needy. They even inspired their Ligaya ng Panginoon prayer community to help out by donating funds and volunteering to help with the cooking and distribution. 

Tristan and Madz raised their 3 kids to be prayerful. Every car ride is a chance to pray together Psalm 91, the St. Michael Prayer and the Consecration to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary. Even if their son works abroad and their daughter is married, they never skip Sunday mass and they always make time for prayer. This New Year’s Eve they will continue their tradition of gathering to thank the Lord for specific blessings and to pray for each other’s hopes and dreams in the coming year.
