Their daughter, Miriam Infanti, recently shared a special tribute. In their small town, they held the first-ever St. Patrick’s Day parade—an overdue celebration in a community rich in Irish heritage. Miriam saw this as an opportunity to honor Father Peyton and unite her parish school community around his message during this year’s Jubilee of Hope, when the Church calls us to renew our trust in God’s promises.
With her help, students and families marched in the parade, holding a banner with Father Peyton’s iconic quote: “A family that prays together stays together.” They handed out over 100 fingertip rosaries, school magnets, and items promoting both the school and Father Peyton’s call to family prayer. One mother, deeply moved by his story, expressed newfound inspiration—proof that this message continues to touch hearts.
We’re grateful to Miriam, Charlie, Susan, and their family for their joyful witness. Their story reflects the spirit of the Jubilee—a time of renewal, unity, and hope through prayer.
Let us continue to pray for Father Peyton’s Beatification and for families everywhere.
God bless,
Father David S. Marcham
