Glen A. Wilson NAMI's Peer Health Advocates compose of 12 students from NAMI who are knowledgeable on mental health, reproductive health, and healthy relationships. Participating in nonjudgmental discussion, educational workshops, and producing the district's Virtual Mental Health Assembly, advocates receive stipends for their internships and are the first students administration seeks for help regarding resources and education.
As well as Peer Health Advocates, these 12 selected individuals make up Glen A. Wilson NAMI's Media Team, involved in working on branding for our club, and getting the word out on mental health advocacy not only on our campus, but in our local and digital communities. From social media graphics, our monthly school announcements, and our Virtual Mental Health Assembly, we're always working on our next project!

Team leaders give updates and members present recent projects within the group. Meetings always end with a lesson related to advertising or public relations to train underclassmen.
Members are tasked every month with creating an entertaining and educational video to be played for all 1500+ Wilson High School Students.
Established in 2025, the team created the district's first assembly project, connecting our feeder middle schools to break down stigma with merchandise, interactive activities, celebrity guests, and wellness personnel.
