Starting in the 2025-2026 school year, 12 students from NAMI were selected as Glen A. Wilson High School's Public Health Advocates, knowledgeable on mental health, reproductive health, and healthy relationships. Completing educational workshops and producing the district's Virtual Mental Health Assembly, advocates receive stipends for their internships and are the first students administration seeks for help regarding resources and education.
Beginning in the 2025-2026 school year, Glen A. Wilson NAMI serves as a StudentsBuild Year 11 team, with grant money allowing the club's Virtual Mental Health Assembly initiative reach more schools and their branding message to be spread among 3 schools within the Hacienda-La Puente Unified School District.
