If you’re reading this, you have made it. You are part of one of the best special forces the Empire has to offer. On this page, you will find everything you need to succeed as a member of Inferno Squad. Formed by Admiral and ISB:IA Director Garrick Versio, you will be tasked with various duties that go beyond standard ISB:IA Operations.
"Sir? Does this unit have a name yet?"
"It does. It's a promise to the rebels. It's called Inferno Squad."
As a member of Inferno Squad, you will be expected to address superiors with respect at all times. Following is expected of you given any interaction:
Maintain respectful decorum and appearance.
You may only take off your helmet if you’re on the Bridge or during Meetings.
Maintain a professional tone and never discriminate against fellow Imperial Personnel.
Bow to Emperor Palpatine and salute to Lord Vader and ISB Command.
Maintain the confidential security of any information you have been made privy to.
Use proper format and prefix for your Battalion when using chat communications. All ISB and Inferno Squad communication should be secured; using open communications is restricted to Bureau Command and Iden Versio.
[ISB] When in communication with other ISB personnel.
[Inferno/IF] When in communication with other Inferno Squad Members.
[ISB/IF - REG] When addressing another regiment.
[ISB/IF | HC] When communicating with High Command.
[ISB/IF - REG | REG] When communicating with multiple regiments.
As a member of Inferno Squad you have been given scarce abilities within the Empire. This is an attempt to make sure members of Inferno Squad can succeed with their missions and secure ISB:IA Operational security with maximum efficiency.
When Inferno Squad is partaking in a solo mission, they are to attempt to sabotage the enemy installations before conducting an assault. Inferno operatives serve in various capacities: frontline hacking, target destruction, recon and marksmanship during operations. Off-duty, they assist ISB:IA or provide security for Deputy Director or Director. Inferno members present non-redacted IDs to authorized personnel only. Their ISB:IA certification allows them to conduct investigations and re-educations.
Within Imperial Installations, Inferno Squad Members should only show violence in an act of self defense. This also includes Imperial personnel, should they pose a threat to any ISB:IA operations.
Before fighting back, clear and efficient warning needs to be given.
As a member of Inferno Squad you may be trained for demolitions and hacking. While Inferno has these abilities it should primarily be used for ISB:IA benefit. Inferno Squad should also be skilled with gunplay in order to be effective in executing their operations. The ability for demolitions and hacking may be given to you by Iden Versio, Deputy Director and Director with the proper training. It is up to Iden Versio to maintain Inferno's effectiveness and train its members when possible if they are lacking in certain areas that are deemed undesirable for the squads benefit.
While Inferno may have access to a stun gun and elastic restraints they should only be used to benefit your investigations or to assist ISB:IA with their own investigations. Inferno may also use it to subdue a threat if necessary.
When detaining a suspect, always make sure to strip them of their equipment. This includes but is not limited to: Weapons, Communication Devices, Suicide Devices.
All Members of Inferno are expected to follow these regulations. Failure to do so will result in removal from Inferno Squad.
All standard ISB:IA rules still apply when in Inferno.
Any abuse of Inferno is susceptible to punishment or removal depending on its severity.
Never put yourself before the objective.
Never harm ISB:IA staff unless they harm the Deputy Chief or Chief when you are guarding them.
Always follow the Chain of Command:
ISB:IA → Iden Versio → Deputy Director → Garrick Versio/Director
The arrest of a person is a last resort if no other ISB:IA can arrest the suspect.
Detaining is not the same as Arresting a suspect.
Never take your helmet off during a Mission or while patrolling the ISD/Base.
You may take your helmet off if you're on Bridge or during Meetings.
The Recruitment Tournament is mandatory for all Inferno Squad Members in order to defend their position within Inferno. Failure to attend the Tournament will result in losing the position within Inferno Squad, should your position be challenged.
Inferno squadron members are expected to follow ISB:IA flying guidelines procedure.
