The Imperial Star Destroyer is the pride of the Imperial Navy, having enough capacity to carry Legions of personnel and support vessels. Infamous throughout the Galaxy and capable of reducing a planetary surface to molten slag. The Consilio's main weapon battery consists of six heavy turbo-lasers, two heavy ion cannons, and tractor-beam projectors. Naval personnel can maintain and monitor most ship systems from the Bridge Pits.
There are two new consoles in the middle pits. The left is the targeting console and the right is the charging console. A console is used by pressing E while facing it, once pressed a menu will appear where you have an option to select what to do based on what console you access.
Left Console, Targeting/Firing Console -
When on the console you will have the ability to select a ship to target and a place on the ship to hit. The strength of the guns you fire depends on the charge selected by another naval trooper on the right console. Before being able to damage a ship you must first take out its shields. Once the shields are down you are able to damage other parts of the ship.
Right Console: Charging Console -
This console allows a trooper to select the charge level that another trooper will use when targeting enemy ships. The higher the charge level, the higher the damage, but this also means a higher chance of missing the target. The gun must be charged between every shot that is fired!
CONLRS - Long Range Sensors - This is a detection system used to detect objects - such as ships exiting hyperspace, asteroids, any ships in the system, etc. This specific system is used for long-range sensor scans. This system cannot gather many details; it is largely useful for determining speed, location, and the general size of an object. Many factors play a role in if the LRS can determine what an object is. Examples: Asteroid fields, Distance, # of objects (including other smaller ships) around it, etc.

CONSRS - Short Range Sensors - This is a detection system with similar functions to the CONLRS system, but the key difference is that it is meant purely for short-range sensor scans, and it is most useful in situations when you require a short-range sensor scan of the ship or the immediate area around your ship/fleet. It is useful for determining an object's size, location, speed, what an object is, what type of ship, etc.

CONPWR - Power System - We can distribute power to systems/functions as we please, shut down systems, activate systems, and customize the power of certain systems to our needs. We could increase shield power if we were in an asteroid field and needed it. Or we could increase weapons power if we desired that extra kick. The CONPWR system certainly has many options...

CONSHD - Shields - We use CONSHD to power and customize our shields. If we want to focus forward to take the brunt of an attack or balance it out to take multiple directional attacks - the CONSHD is what we use. We can move shield power up and down as needed and distribute it to protect certain areas more than others.
Shields have 4 modes, which are as follows:
Off (Used when docked at a HEAVILY controlled imperial Starport or conducting maintenance on them)
Recharging (when shields have been taken down but not destroyed, they will be able to come back up)
Standby (Shields are fully charged but not on. They are not consuming power. Used when patrolling to save power consumption)
On/Full power (Shields are on and drawing power to keep the shields at max or highest possible while under attack)

CONENG - Engine Systems - It is used to control engine power. This can be used to control directional thrust. The CONENG is a manual system. It must be set to what you want it to do. This system is typically used in conjunction with the CONNAV - which we will touch on momentarily.

CONLSS - Life Support System - This console controls the ship’s life support system. This system is vital to our survival aboard the ship and must be well maintained. Additionally, the ship’s fire suppression systems ensure personnel remains safe in the event of a fire, and infrastructure damage remains minimal.
CONTAR- Targeting System - We use it to target things - planetary bases, space stations, asteroids, or other ships - It works in conjunction with our Weapons and Tractor Beam systems. It can also target specific areas of a ship/asteroid/etc. You must scan first to find the exact location.

CONPDS - Point Defense System - This is an automated system that we activate/deactivate. It is our primary defense system against craft such as enemy fighters, bombers, and smaller asteroids/objects. It is essentially what we use against things that are too small for our larger cannons to be effective against. PDS systems are also employed on GCC as defensive measures against enemy fighters, shuttles, and other craft/objects.

CONWEP - Weapons - This is our weapons system. It is used in conjunction with the targeting system, and can be used to fire weapons, activate/deactivate weapons, and run cooldown cycles on weapons. We use two primary types: Turbo Lasers and Ion Cannons.
Turbolasers: These are two-stage supercharged laser cannons. The small primary laser produces an energy beam that enters the turbolaser's main actuator, interacting with a stream of energized blaster gas to produce an intense blast. The energy bolt's destructive power is incredible, and the barrel's galven coils focus the beam, providing a range that is double or triple that of conventional laser cannons. These weapons fire tiny particles that are superheated and supercharged. A well-placed shot can cause a large-scale rapid depressurization in that area. How long this takes depends on multiple factors, such as the Ship's Armoring, Shot Accuracy, Distance, etc. These weapons can still be used against shields but are not as effective as Ion weaponry
Ion Cannons: These are energy-based weapons that fire an “Ion Blast.” These weapons carry and use massive amounts of energy from supercharged particles. When this weapon hits shields, it causes a feedback loop back to the shield generator. Effectively, this disables the shields but does not destroy them. The shield generator will still need to be targeted and destroyed.

CONSCA - Scanning Systems - You may recall the CONSRS and CONLRS - this system is used harmoniously with those systems. While they can detect the objects' locations - the CONSCA system can’t. It relies on the Sensor systems for that data. After Sensors pick up a ship/object/planet/etc. - the Scanning systems can be employed to get a closer look at an object. They can find out how many life forms are present, what systems of a ship may be engaged, how fast they’re going, any chemicals/objects aboard - anything like that. It is incredibly useful in running checks on ships before they board and can be used to find weaknesses in our enemies. One weakness this system has is it can NOT penetrate other ships' shields. However, it can scan the other ships' shields to find their integrity. The other ship must lower its shield to scan. If they are unwilling to do so, you may take them down using turbo lasers.
CONTRB - Tractor Beam - Our targeting system uses it to hold things in place, move things to another place, or pull them in. We use this to hold captured ships in place, move asteroids from our path, and move disabled ships to another location. etc.

CONNAV - Navigation System - This is used to control the ship’s course/direction automatically. Think of it as the map and autopilot of the ship - whereas the CONENG is the wheel, brake pedal, gas pedal, and gear shift. It is also used to gather coordinates for Lightspeed Jumps. The Navigation System also holds the Nav Computer and a galaxy map.

CONHYP - Hyperdrive - This system makes hyperspace jumps, which are used to move very large distances quickly. Once you get the coordinates from the CONNAV, you input them into the CONHYP and make the jump. There are a few rules about using the CONHYP. You must initiate a countdown before you make the jump to lightspeed, preferably from 3 seconds or higher. Finally, you must ensure that the destination/coordinates are correct before jumping.

CONCOL - Coolant System - This system controls engine coolant - which keeps the engines and related systems from overheating or otherwise malfunctioning. It ensures that the ship remains safe and intact, no matter what use those systems may endure.
CONFUEL - Fuel System - This is the console that controls our fuel supply, ensuring that fuel use/production remains regulated - preventing malfunctions, overuse, or the use of all fuel reserves.
