Welcome to the Imperial Navy

Congratulations on passing the Imperial Navy recruitment process. This Handbook will be your best resource in developing your career as a member of the Imperial Navy. Tasked with maintaining order throughout the galaxy, the Imperial Navy ensures order, obedience, and Imperial control across the worlds we defend and the void between them.
Our crewmen are the foundation of the Imperial Navy; like any branch, it is only as strong as the men and women who wear its uniform. All members who graduate past the Imperial Navy Academy commit themselves to the service of his Imperial Majesty, Emperor Palpatine, and are bound by the Imperial Naval Code.

Imperial Star Destroyer  (ISD - Consilio)

The Imperial Star Destroyer is the pride of the Imperial Navy, having enough capacity to carry Legions of personnel and support vessels. Infamous throughout the Galaxy and capable of reducing a planetary surface to molten slag. The Consilio's main weapon battery consists of six heavy turbo-lasers, two heavy ion cannons, and tractor-beam projectors. 

Imperial Navy Ranking Structure

Naval Enlisted: Expected to learn most things about the Imperial Navy. They are encouraged to ask questions and understand the limits and opportunities offered by the Navy. Enlisted personnel receives promotions the most, with a 2-day cooldown.

• Crewman Apprentice, equivalent to Private

• Junior Crewman, equivalent to Private I (First Class)

• Crewman, equivalent to Specialist

• Senior Crewman, equivalent to Lance Corporal

• Leading Crewman, equivalent to Corporal

Naval Junior Officers: Expected to know most things about the Imperial Navy and guide Crewmen with day-to-day operations. They are encouraged to teach enlisted and assist their superiors, often hosting tryouts and managing enlisted. Junior Officers are eligible for promotions with a 6-day cooldown.

• Petty Officer II, equivalent to Sergeant. 

• Petty Officer I, equivalent to Staff Sergeant

• Chief Petty Officer, equivalent to Master Sergeant

• Senior Chief Petty Officer, equivalent to Sergeant Major

• Midshipman, equivalent to Command Sergeant Major

Naval Senior Officers: Considered leaders of the Navy. Senior Officers oversee and carry out the same roles as NCOs, with an expectation of dedication and leadership capabilities. Naval Senior Officers are eligible for promotions with an 8-day cooldown.

• Ensign, equivalent to Second Lieutenant. Eligible to request recruitment interview for the Imperial Security Bureau.

• Sub-Lieutenant, equivalent to First Lieutenant

• Lieutenant, equivalent to Captain

• Lieutenant Commander, equivalent to Major

• Commander, equivalent to Lt Colonel

• Captain, equivalent to Colonel

Weekly Meeting

Graduates of the Imperial Naval Academies must attend the weekly meeting to keep themselves up-to-date on the latest changes and news throughout the Imperial Navy. Meetings are mandatory, and failure to post a valid meeting excuse will result in punishment.
