BRIEF History
The Terrace Inn, built in 1910, is located in Petoskey, Michigan.
"The first Terrace Inn was located on the current site but was a two story boarding house with a few rooms and kitchen. It was of the Victorian Cottage design and was replaced by the current hotel in 1910-1911. Used for housing staff while the New Inn was being built, it was eventually torn down, along with 3 cottages to make space for "New" Terrace Inn Hotel. According to rumor, two workers were killed when a beam fell on them during the building process." ~Terrace Inn Website

HAUNTINGs
The three most notable ghosts found at the Terrace Inn are the Lady in White, the Man in Tweed, and the Boy in the Basement. According to radio station 99.1 WFMK, "People wonder if the Lady in White (named Elizabeth) is actually searching for the Man in Tweed (named Edward) - possibly her husband. She has been seen wandering the halls and spotted in guest rooms while the Man has been seen on a balcony, peering into bedrooms. The Basement Boy has been seen in shadowy form and is believed to be between 12-14 years old; he has been known to interact with guests."

WFMK also states "other apparitions have been seen floating down the staircase, voices out of nowhere are heard and the usual bumps in the night: creaking doors, footsteps and more."
The Terrace Inn advises that the most haunted rooms are 211, 212, 219 303, and 318.
